Day 24

Finally the weekend!  Fridays are usually the hardest days to prep dinner in my family.  We are so used to ordering takeout and since that is pretty much impossible on this program, we have been cooking most Fridays.  Today we did a slow cooker pot roast (recipe below).

Breakfast:

  • 2 eggs over easy
  • 1 piece of bacon (Whole30 approved)
  • 2-10 oz cups of coffee

Lunch:

  • Tuna salad
  • 1/2 avocado

Snack:

  • Handful of almonds
  • 1 Larabar (chocolate coconut chew)

Dinner:

  • Slow Cooker Pot Roast (we used this recipe but substituted the broth for water and eliminated the flour and red wine)
